About Me

Here is Lutao Yan (Neal, 晏璐涛).

I am a final-year undergrad majoring in Data Science and Big Data Technology at South China University of Technology, advised by Prof. Ye Liu. Currently, I serve as a research assistant at the HKUST(GZ), advised by Prof. Yuyu Luo. My research interest focus on Visualization, Multi-modal Learning, LLM Application.

Currently I am sincerely seeking PhD / Mphil Position for 2025 fall!

Academic Experience

	Jan 2024 - Present: Research Internship, Visual analysis based on MLLM. Advised by Yuyu Luo, Information Hub, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou).
	June 2024 - Aug 2024: Research Assistant, MoE-based LLM in federated learning scenarios. Advised by Fangxin Wang, School of Science and Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen).
	Sep 2022 - June 2023: Research Assistant, Multi-modal Learning and Generation. Advised by Ye Liu, School of Future Technology, South China University of Technology.
